This is a high elevation OHV road just outside of Pagosa Springs that promises back country air and breathtaking views! The road is more like a gravel road for the first 8 miles but then quickly turns rocky with larger loose rocks and water crossings. If the road is wet it can be slick. At the summit if you turn to the right you will see Summitville and old ghost town and you will end up in Platoro CO. Then eventually down to Chama NM. Left at the summit will take you back to an intersection that will have a sign pointing back to the 160. Drive with caution and enjoy the scenery!
