TOWN PARK – registration starts at 7 AM Race starts at 8 AM

Please come to the race site to complete same day registration in the athletic field at Town Park. Brilliant colors will be flying at Pagosa’s iconic 5K Color Run. As color runners/walkers venture out on the course, colorful balloons will be filling the skies along the entire run route from the annual ColorFest Weekend. Iconic has now turned stunning with runners and ballooners joining in on a color-filled adventure.

Color Run/Walk athletes will be transformed into a running rainbow as you run through vibrant colors at each color station you pass. Not a runner, no problem! You can walk, skip, hop, or roll your way to the finish line!

This un-timed, non-competitive event is for everyone – from young to the young at heart, you’re going to LOVE it! Add some color to your life and come out for a colorful good time!

Afterwards, continue the ColorFest festivities at the Music & Micro Brew Festival (tickets sold separately. Enjoy fantastic food and brews, along with live music – fun for the whole family!! End the day with the Hot Air Balloon Glow – in color! Bring the entire family out to spend a very colorful day in Pagosa!

Holiday Express Trains: December 2, 3, 9, & 10 in Chama NM and Antonito CO

We’ll “deck the halls” at the Chama and Antonito Depots while Santa’s helper Cinder Bear and Santa’s elves will merrily greet you with hot cocoa, holiday cookies and candy canes. All rides last approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Help us make the holidays a little brighter for our communities! We’re collecting donations of toys and non-perishable canned food items for local food pantries and children’s charities. Adult: $20 Child (2-12): $10 *Only coach class seating is available on this trip. Ticket prices subject to a 7% HPF fee* CHAMA, NM Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd 10:00 am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm. ANTONITO, CO Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th 10:00 am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm.

3rd Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration

Join us December 16th from 5-7pm for the 3rd annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration in downtown Pagosa Springs. Enjoy over 20 Christmas-themed displays and activities, a hot air balloon glow, live music, free hot chocolate and cider, games, toys and other goodies. And, of course, Santa Claus! Santa will arrive by horse-drawn sleigh at his workshop at the Visitor Center shortly after 5pm, with opportunities to view his arrival along San Juan Street and Hot Springs Blvd bridge. The route extends along the Riverwalk from Centennial Park to Town Park, crossing Veterans Bridge and down San Juan Street to the visitor center. Entry points for the walking route include (1) Town Park, (2) Visitor Center and (3) Centennial Park. Look for decorated white tents at the key entry points to receive decorative lights and a scavenger hunt card to win a free ornament. Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights. Pagosa Nordic Learn to Cross-Country Ski Clinic at Cloman Park

Cloman Park Cloman Blvd – North off Piedra Rd (CR600) on Cloman Blvd to the end of the road – Pagosa Springs, Colorado These great introductory clinics for adults are held throughout the season. Skate ski and classic cross country ski basics will be shared by some of Pagosa Springs’ best skiers. All free of charge. Donations and Pagosa Nordic Club membership are strongly encouraged to help offset expenses with conducting the clinics and trail grooming. Checked in and ready to ski by 9:45am.

United Way Day at Wolf Creek Ski Area – Join United Way of Southwest Colorado (UWSWC) at Wolf Creek Ski Area for a fun day of skiing and snowboarding with discounted full-day lift tickets to benefit United Way nonprofit organizations in Archuleta County. Proceeds to UWSWC are invested locally to meet needs in the areas of education, financial stability and health.

Red Ryder BB Gun Biathlon at Yamaguchi Park

EVENT DETAILS Pagosa Nordic Club will offer different level races with Red Ryder BB guns. No gun or shooting experience needed. Great fun for all ages! Held at Yamaguchi Park. 16K competitive/4K citizens-youth/KidK Participants have three opportunities to shoot at targets in between ski laps. 16 km competitive starts at 10:00am, with registration/check-in 9:15am-9:45am KidK at 11am, with registration/check-in 10:15am-10:45am 4 km citizens starts at 11:30am, with registration/check-in 10:45am-11:15am Be geared up and ready for your start time. Racers will have an opportunity to test shoot at targets for one half hour before their race. Participants can either classic or skate ski. Sign up for the citizens 4K course or the competitive 16K course. The Kid’s race length will be determined based on the kids that enter. They love this race! The race fee is $5 for Pagosa Nordic Club members and $15 for non-members. Prizes for the top finishers and participant drawing giveaways immediately following the race.
