Wildflowers and Medicinal Plants of the Continental Divide. Join us for a fun and educational ramble through the forest, led by certified herbalist Lake McCullough, as we identify edible and medicinal native plants. Offered in partnership with the Weminuche Audubon Society. First Tour: 9:30-11:30am. Second Tour: 11:45-1:45pm.

Meet at the Continental Divide Trail parking lost at the top of Wolf Creek Pass. Take Highway 160 east from downtown Pagosa Springs. Parking is on the right side of the highway, at the Continental Divide Interpretive Sign. 2 miles round trip. Be prepared for rocky trails and unpredictable weather. Leave dogs at home.

Pickleball Grand Opening Tournament at South Yamaguchi Park

Help celebrate the completion of our new pickleball courts with our Fall Grand Opening tournament. In addition to some fun pickleball enjoy the beauty of Pagosa Springs, the fall colors in the San Juan Mountains, and relax in the deepest hot springs in the world. The round robin format will ensure plenty of play. Lunch will be provided for players and we will have a silent auction with some amazing items, player swag bags and more. Registration opens on June 15 at 8 a.m. Registration closes on September 14 at 5 p.m. Tournament Registration Fee – $40 – includes one event Second event – $10 pickleballbrackets fee – $5/person/event Payment is required to register Pagosa Pickleball Club members receive a $5 discount (discount code can be found in the members-only section of the website) Events will be held for Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles at skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. 2023 3rd Annual Oktoberfest Pagosa at Town Park

Pagosa Fun! is collaborating with Rugby’s Rescue House (rugbysrescue.com) a local dog rescue that focuses on rescuing dogs from surrounding reservations, to host the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest Pagosa in Town Park on Saturday, October 7th. Oktoberfest Pagosa is a family friendly event that will take place from 2-5pm in the athletic field in Town Park on Hermosa Street. There will be live music, food, beer, and a great time! Food such as bratwursts, sauerkraut, and Bavarian pretzels will be available. There will be a bar featuring beer from local and regional breweries as well as a selection of spirits and specialty drinks manned by Rugby’s Rescue House. Live music will be provided by Denver based band, Austrian Connection, that plays everything from traditional Austrian and German music to the latest popular songs/ Volksmusik from Austria and Germany – Schunkel- Chicken Dance – Polonese. Bring a blanket, shade, or anything that will make you comfortable. Come celebrate fall in Pagosa Springs!

3rd Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration

Join us December 16th from 5-7pm for the 3rd annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration in downtown Pagosa Springs. Enjoy over 20 Christmas-themed displays and activities, a hot air balloon glow, live music, free hot chocolate and cider, games, toys and other goodies. And, of course, Santa Claus! Santa will arrive by horse-drawn sleigh at his workshop at the Visitor Center shortly after 5pm, with opportunities to view his arrival along San Juan Street and Hot Springs Blvd bridge. The route extends along the Riverwalk from Centennial Park to Town Park, crossing Veterans Bridge and down San Juan Street to the visitor center. Entry points for the walking route include (1) Town Park, (2) Visitor Center and (3) Centennial Park. Look for decorated white tents at the key entry points to receive decorative lights and a scavenger hunt card to win a free ornament. Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights.
