We will be at the PLPOA Clubhouse for our dance, 230 Port Ave. It is a wonderful space for our dances – very spacious with a good sound system and a nice floor. 5k and 10k Races The Mountain Chile Cha Cha Trail Race offers a 5K and 10k race. The races begin just outside downtown Pagosa Springs, CO at 9:00am on Reservoir River Ranch where you’ll run along jeep and atv trails, with breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains. The course offers a variety of terrain – from fast flats, moderate slow hill climbs, and rewarding downhills that are perfect for the experienced or new runner. There are great spots along the course for spectators to cheer on their runners. The 5k is one single loop and the 10k runs the loop twice. After the race, head up the road to Town Park for the Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic. It’s a green chili cook-off, salsa dip contest, with a beer garden, live music, margarita contest and of course lots of fun! Registration is open now! Register

In addition to some fun pickleball enjoy the beauty of Pagosa Springs, the fall colors in the San Juan Mountains, and relax in the deepest hot springs in the world. The round robin format will ensure plenty of play. Lunch will be provided for players and we will have a silent auction with some amazing items, player swag bags and more. Pagosa Fun! is collaborating with Rugby’s Rescue House (rugbysrescue.com) a local dog rescue that focuses on rescuing dogs from surrounding reservations, to host the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest Pagosa in Town Park on Saturday, October 7th. Oktoberfest Pagosa is a family friendly event that will take place from 2-5pm in the athletic field in Town Park on Hermosa Street. There will be live music, food, beer, and a great time! Food such as bratwursts, sauerkraut, and Bavarian pretzels will be available. There will be a bar featuring beer from local and regional breweries as well as a selection of spirits and specialty drinks manned by Rugby’s Rescue House. Live music will be provided by Denver based band, Austrian Connection, that plays everything from traditional Austrian and German music to the latest popular songs/ Volksmusik from Austria and Germany – Schunkel- Chicken Dance – Polonese. Bring a blanket, shade, or anything that will make you comfortable. Come celebrate fall in Pagosa Springs!

Join us December 16th from 5-7pm for the 3rd annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration in downtown Pagosa Springs. Enjoy over 20 Christmas-themed displays and activities, a hot air balloon glow, live music, free hot chocolate and cider, games, toys and other goodies. And, of course, Santa Claus! Santa will arrive by horse-drawn sleigh at his workshop at the Visitor Center shortly after 5pm, with opportunities to view his arrival along San Juan Street and Hot Springs Blvd bridge. The route extends along the Riverwalk from Centennial Park to Town Park, crossing Veterans Bridge and down San Juan Street to the visitor center. Entry points for the walking route include (1) Town Park, (2) Visitor Center and (3) Centennial Park. Look for decorated white tents at the key entry points to receive decorative lights and a scavenger hunt card to win a free ornament. Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights.
